This is most likely biased because Chuuya is my favourite character， but this book is honestly so good。 I read a translation and am waiting on the oficial one in order to buy it but the story is amazing and it gives so much more context to Chuuya as a character and insight into the workings of the Port mafia。 This is an amazing transition from Dazai Chuuya， Fifteen。 There was something I really wanted to see written and interpreted by Asagiri and he delivered！！！

this is my first time writing a review but i couldn't help it！！ this book is so so good！！ i love this to death！ the amount of times this made me cry is astonishing as i rarely cry reading a story but omg this one hits right in the feels！！ i absolutely loved chuuya when i saw him in the anime for the first time， loved him when i saw him in the manga and i never could've thought it would be possible for me to love him even MORE but here i am！ im absolutely floored im so attached to him now omg（thi this is my first time writing a review but i couldn't help it！！ this book is so so good！！ i love this to death！ the amount of times this made me cry is astonishing as i rarely cry reading a story but omg this one hits right in the feels！！ i absolutely loved chuuya when i saw him in the anime for the first time， loved him when i saw him in the manga and i never could've thought it would be possible for me to love him even MORE but here i am！ im absolutely floored im so attached to him now omg（this is a little embarrassing since this review is just me gushing over him novel but my GOD） 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Me rompió， me destrozó， me encantó。hubieron partes que si me fue muy difícil leer porque las escenas eran demasiado largas y a veces se centraba en una cosa y la historia tardaba un poco en avanzar， pero fuera de eso， estuvo emocionante。Empezando por The Flags， literalmente lo mejor que pude leer， la escena donde todos apuntan a chuuya con algo característico de cada miembro， la tensión， lo increíble emocionalmente constipado que está chuuya porque solo es un niño que ha vivido demasiado y no sa Me rompió， me destrozó， me encantó。hubieron partes que si me fue muy difícil leer porque las escenas eran demasiado largas y a veces se centraba en una cosa y la historia tardaba un poco en avanzar， pero fuera de eso， estuvo emocionante。Empezando por The Flags， literalmente lo mejor que pude leer， la escena donde todos apuntan a chuuya con algo característico de cada miembro， la tensión， lo increíble emocionalmente constipado que está chuuya porque solo es un niño que ha vivido demasiado y no sabe cómo reaccionar ante la honestidad， que cuiden de él y lo traten de proteger porque lo consideran un amigo。 La organización The Flags me pareció interesante， me hubiera gustado tener más de ellos， sobre todo de Albatross， realmente querían a chuuya。 Hablando de personajes MUY buenos que estamos viendo específicamente en esta novela tenemos que hablar de Adam， literalmente el decía una línea y yo gritaba， es tan hilarante y es fácil de tomarle cariño。 además， creo que fue un punto de referencia MUY importante en la historia y un gran ejemplo e inspiración para chuuya， quien está en la búsqueda de su identidad como ser humano， tener un androide a su lado que //eligió// protegerlo creo yo que ayudó mucho a digerir el hecho de no saber con certeza si era humano o no。Me gustó mucho la trama y el mensaje del libro， lloré。 。。。more

[English and Spanish review， cause why not？]Where to start？ Nakahara Chūya （cof-supremacy-cof） is my favorite BSD character for many reasons。 After having read this novel I can only reaffirm my NEED to give him a hug urgently。 My heart broke from the end of the first chapter。 It was really hard to watch this stage in his story， which seems to be full of loss and pain。 The plot seemed truly interesting to me， and as always， Kafka has the ability to create such complex and human characters （the ir [English and Spanish review， cause why not？]Where to start？ Nakahara Chūya （cof-supremacy-cof） is my favorite BSD character for many reasons。 After having read this novel I can only reaffirm my NEED to give him a hug urgently。 My heart broke from the end of the first chapter。 It was really hard to watch this stage in his story， which seems to be full of loss and pain。 The plot seemed truly interesting to me， and as always， Kafka has the ability to create such complex and human characters （the irony for me， and yes， I'm talking about ALL the characters in this novel） that you can't help but feel alongside with them。 Personally， despite everything Chūya himself thinks， I feel that he is one of the most "human" people that can be found in this universe。 The way he doesn't think twice to protect the people he cares about and how he remains true to his principles no matter what is one of the qualities I admire the most about him。 It hurt me tremendously to see all the things that he had to go through in such a short time。 What I would like most is to see someone give him support。 But anyway， the life of a mobster is complicated。 Honorable mention to the incredible characters that were introduced to us; Adam is a lovely person， I mean， an android。 I think the chewing gum scenes were one of my favorites。 With Verlaine it's a bit more complicated， but my biggest question is why the hell Chūya never asked him why he called him “little brother”。 Dazai being Dazai as always。 We caught you being a Chūya fan though。 No matter how much you deny it， I have no * concise * evidence， but I have no doubts either。 And for N， I hope it hurt。 A lot 。 There is only one problem; Now every time I see Chūya's motorcycle I'm going to cry。 Same with his hat。 Lastly， that last scene was a direct hit to my already weakened heart。 And that author's note at the end promising that there are novels missing from when Dazai left the mob and how did Chūya become an executive？ That was a personal threat against what little stability I have left， thank you。 （Please， someone give the man a hug。 And if that someone can be me， there will be no complaint from me， jiji。） P。S: I'm not going to lie， I had to re-read a few paragraphs a couple of times because between the translation and the tangled parts of the story I was getting a little lost hehe。（｀・ω・´）¿Por dónde empezar？Nakahara Chūya （cof-supremacy-cof ） es mi personaje favorito de BSD por muchas razones。 Tras haber leído esta novela solamente puedo reafirmar mi NECESIDAD de darle un abrazo con urgencia。Mi corazón se rompió desde el final del primer capítulo。 Fue realmente duro ver esta etapa de su historia， la cual parece estar llena de perdidas y dolor。 La trama me pareció verdaderamente interesante， y como siempre， Kafka tiene la capacidad de crear personajes tan complejos y humanos （válgame la ironía， y sí， hablo de TODOS los personajes de esta novela） que no puedes evitar sentir junto con ellos。 Personalmente， a pesar de todo lo que el mismo Chūya piense， siento que él es de las personas más “humanas” que se pueden encontrar en este universo。 La forma en la que no lo piensa dos veces para proteger a las personas que le importan y como sigue siendo fiel a sus principios sin importar qué es una de las cualidades que más admiro de él。 Me dolió tremendamente ver por todas las cosas que tuvo que pasar en tan poco tiempo。 Lo que más me gustaría es ver que alguien le dé apoyo。 Pero en fin， la vida de un mafioso es complicada。Mención honorífica a los increíbles personajes que se nos presentaron; Adam es un amor de persona， digo， de androide。 Creo que las escenas con los chicles fueron de mis favoritas。Con Verlaine es algo más complicado， pero mi mayor pregunta es por qué demonios Chūya nunca le pregunto porque le decía “hermano menor”。Dazai siendo Dazai como siempre。 Aunque te atrapamos siendo fan de Chūya。 No importa cuanto lo niegues， no tengo pruebas *contundentes*， pero tampoco tengo dudas。Y para N， espero que te haya dolido。 Mucho。Solamente hay un problema; ahora cada vez que vea la motocicleta de Chūya voy a llorar。 Lo mismo con su sombrero。 Por último， esa última escena fue un golpe directo a mi ya debilitado corazón。 ¿Y esa nota de autor hasta el final prometiendo que faltaban las novelas de después de que Dazai dejara la mafia y cómo fue que Chūya se volvió ejecutivo？ Eso fue una amenaza personal en contra de la poca estabilidad que me queda， gracias。 （Por favor que alguien le dé un abrazo al hombre。 Y si ese alguien puedo ser yo no habrá ninguna queja de mi parte jiji。）Pd:No voy a mentir， si tuve que volver a leer unos cuantos párrafos un par de veces porque entre la traducción y las partes enredadas de la historia me perdía un poco jeje。 。。。more
